Gameschool Friday: Kittin

G

A fun head-to-head dexterity game purrrrfect for the whole family.

Do you need a quick game to fill the 10 minutes in between teeth-brushing and bedtime? How about a game to pop in your purse to play at the restaurant while you wait for your food to come? Kittin by Alley Cat Games is a super fun, compact game that has a quick play time, but endless replay value.

Ms. A is very good at this game, and therefore loves it. đŸ˜€ Little ones actually might have an advantage because their little fingers can manipulate the cats with precision. You can play head-to-head with up to four people, or in teams.

The basic premise is that you have a pile of cat-shaped blocks in different shapes, sizes, and colors. A card with a specific configuration is flipped and everyone races to build the configuration exactly. The first player to achieve the build says “meow!” and everyone else stops building. Once the build is verified, the winner gets the card. First player to three cards wins.
